The Root Network (ROOT)

I'm in favor of the new Root change.

Bullish subnets.

This answers the 'Validators will manipulate it' objection.

I’m not convinced getting rid of ROOT APY entirely is the right move. A better middle ground might be:

• Keep ROOT staking.
• Keep passive exposure to bittensor:native .
• Remove the default SWAP mechanism and default rewards to KEEP instead.

That way:

• ROOT stakers aren’t forced further up the risk curve
• People without time/interest/skills in subnet analysis can still participate
• APY remains inside dTAO
• Subnets potentially retain more capital

Feels like a cleaner balance between supporting dTAO and keeping #Bittensor accessible to passive holders who don’t want to take additional risk with their main bag.
