YugaLabs is proving to be one of the most innovative teams in the Web3 space with their ‘Daniel Arsham Avatar’ drop.
They could have gone with the regular whitelist giveaway route, but instead, they chose to make the experience interactive.
First with the raffle ticket and now with the public mint.
This is one of the use cases of the metaverse which automatically creates a use case for ApeChain and ApeCoin. Imagine what Otherside would look like when more artists and project founders start dropping their collections on Otherside.
Not to mention, ApeCoin is 100% unlocked and is now deflationary in nature.
I won’t be surprised if Otherside becomes the next major onboarding event for the Web2 audience into Web3. I might be wrong, but I’m happy to be proven wrong.
In YugaLabs we trust. With that being said, I added another Otherside Koda to my vault.
Abstract is the biggest liability for Pudgy Penguins
When you’re up, it’s easy to take swing at the fence & do more
But when the hype fades, these can turn out as the biggest drawdown
It happened with BAYC & Otherside
Otherside was once seen as the biggest bear case for BAYC
And it took Yuga a while (with a lot of fixing the basics, offloading, & getting back to roots) to tie everything together:
> BAYC as the main NFT
> Otherside as the home for ALL NFTs
> ApeChain as the tech behind Otherside
> $APE as the currency behind Otherside
Now, the ape ecosystem is humming
For Abstract to succeed, Igloo must define the reason for its existence & sync the existence of Pudgy Penguins & $PENGU with it
Because if not, Abstract will just be a confusing part of the portfolio & people will clamor for the removal of it as it pulls the main brand down
Xeet left Abstract for MegaETH
Myriad left Abstract for BNB
Fugz and Final Bosu left Abstract for ETH
This begs the question… is Abstract dead? https://t.co/vKmLBRQ3mF
