I opened my inbox today and saw the email

“Sorry, but your application to invest was unsuccessful”

At first, i didn’t feel anger. I felt confusion.

Because when you step back and look at the data Legion Score, participation history, capital commitment the rejection doesn’t just feel subjective. It feels structurally opaque. And opacity, in systems that claim to optimize fairness, is where trust starts to erode.

Lets be clear about one thing upfront: this is not an attack on @legiondotcc . If anything, Legion has done more than most launchpads to professionalize access, reduce bot-driven allocations and introduce a reputation layer that should reward long-term contributors over opportunists.

That’s precisely why this discussion matters.

Because if a system markets itself as merit-based, score-driven and fair, then the final gatekeeper cannot be an unaccountable manual review process owned entirely by project teams.

The Core Question No One Is Answering

@almanak An investor can still (non‑top‑tier) project, and has participated in Legion twice. The operation was ridiculously wild.

First, before Claim was opened, there were various transfers on‑chain to exchanges. I didn’t investigate whether it was for market makers or the team, then at 8:15 the page still wouldn’t open Claim. At the same time many addresses called claimTokenAllocation on‑chain to withdraw tokens. That function is extremely complex, requiring 7‑8 parameters to be set before you can withdraw.
At that moment, the token price had already started a flash crash, dropping instantly from 0.18 to 0.05.
In other words, both rounds of Legion—first round 45 m FDV, second round 90 m FDV—were completely wiped out.

After about half an hour, the Claim page finally opened. The content inside even made Ctrip’s insiders say “wow”, it was directly a Stake page, and if you’re not careful you’d end up staking for 2 years. You have to find the tiny text at the bottom to actually Claim.

That’s not all, Claim cannot be sent to your own wallet; you must create a new SAFE wallet and Claim to that SAFE wallet.

Did you think creating a new wallet would give you the tokens? Too

simple! After creating the wallet, you have essentially claimed, but when you go to its wallet page, it doesn’t show the newly created address, and it only shows “Submitted”. You have no idea what that address is, and your tokens never arrived in that wallet.

You waited a long time, and finally you could click in, but you still have to top up gas for this SAFE wallet.

Only then can you withdraw.

Yeah, right, by the time you can actually Claim, more than an hour has passed and the project is already near zero.
