Another wild artifact on Hyperliquid: $MAVIA perps.

Funding there has been consistently insane: 600-800% APR (~2% per day), basically a money printer for shorts. Meanwhile, the token trades normally elsewhere (Bybit, Binance) with standard funding.

But here’s the twist: OI cap is already hit, so the free money farm is closed.

So who’s paying for all this?

Believe it or not, ONE wallet holds ~50% of total OI (and basically the entire long side). It built a 34.7M MAVIA long (~$1.36M, ~13.8% of total supply) in 5 entries since early 2026… and has already paid ~$650K in funding (half the position size) 👀.

At first I thought insider… but nope, the wallet is loaded with other alt longs, almost all with heavily negative funding. Since the start of the year, this “investor” is down ~$3.2M.
