Sharing something that could be alpha or could go to zero

The reason is that today, while reading a research report from @Delphi_Digital, I came across a name - @azuroprotocol

And it was written in the prediction market section alongside Polymarket. Given how hot prediction markets are right now, with Polymarket already valued at $9 billion, I decided to look into it.

I found that this project actually issued its token last year, and it's close to going to zero... its market cap is only a few million, and liquidity and trading volume are also very poor, though it seems to have picked up a bit in the last month.

However, the narrative is quite interesting - a prediction market infrastructure platform that provides tools and resources for developers to build prediction applications. Its official website states “The Predictions Layer” - and some applications have already been built using it.

Isn't this similar to PAAS - Prediction Market as a Service?

If Polymarket and Kalshi are seen as the earliest star L2s like OP and Arb, then is $Azur a RAAS niche?

But the market doesn't seem to see it that way, at least that's what the candlestick chart shows. It's also possible that my understanding of it is incorrect. If any friends are familiar with this project, please leave a comment or send me a private message. In any case, I bought a speculative ant-sized position, purely to share with everyone. After all, everyone knows prediction markets are going to be huge, but there really aren't many tokens to buy. The top two haven't issued tokens yet, and the third one is having issues with Binance, what a mess...
